Zig and Zag's zogazine

As someone with an interest in comics produced by Fleetway (in all its incarnations) rather than DC Thomson I thought I'd share some images of the 6 issue 'Zig and Zag's zogazine' that Fleetway editions produced in late 1994 / early 1995.

Art is just by the one artist, John Moore

Zig and Zag's zogazine - issue #1 (Fleetway Editions ltd), October 1994

Zig and Zag's zogazine - issue #2 (Fleetway Editions ltd), November 1994
issue not to hand

Zig and Zag's zogazine - issue #3 (Fleetway Editions ltd), December 1994

Zig and Zag's zogazine - issue #4 (Fleetway Editions ltd), January 1995

Zig and Zag's zogazine - issue #5 (Fleetway Editions ltd), February 1995

Zig and Zag's zogazine - issue #6 (Fleetway Editions ltd), March 1995

  1. Hi, Please consider adding these to the archive for future generations. These old rare comics are getting harder to find. To add them just get a camera (your phone!), lay the comic flat and take 1 picture of each page in vertical/portrait view. It should take less than 5 minutes per comic. Pack it all into a zip file and upload to the archive. Set a nice title like Zig and Zags Zogazine Issue 1/2/3/4/5/6.

If you're not comfortable uploading it I can do that for you.

Have a great day from the US!

    James

    1. Hi James, thanks for your interest in these comics, sadly I'm not sure which archive you are referring to?

    2. Hi, I'm referring to archive DOT org (not sure if I can post links here). There is currently a big push to get old magazines and comics on there, particularly to preserve non-US items for future generations. "The Magazine Rack" Tag on the archive site currently has 160,000 items (Mostly UK items).

Please add what you have! (particularly these zogazines which are close to being lost, and anything else you'd like to preserve).

Again, if you need any help at all uploading you can email the files as attachments to pod950 AT gmail and I'll upload them for you.

      Thanks again, James
