Denis Gifford's film notes up for auction

There's an interesting Denis Gifford item (sadly not comics related) up for auction today here. 

The seller describes it thus...

THREE VOLUMES OF DENIS GIFFORD'S PERSONAL NOTES & REFERENCE LISTINGS FOR USE IN HIS MANY BOOKS ON FILM INCLUDING HIS MAJOR REFERENCE WORK, "THE BRITISH FILM CATALOGUE". Each ring binder measures 6" x 8.25" and contains about 400 pages of typed film listings with cast lists etc. plus Gifford's hand written annotations

now if only we could find something similar for his comic researches...
