Before Krazy it was Nutty

Some images of a recent ebay sale from the (always interesting) seller crispynev (here) is this piece of logo design work for a proposed Nutty comic.

This is not to be confused with DC Thomson's Nutty comic that ran from 1980-5 (wikipedia link here). Instead it relates to the IPC comic that would eventually be published as Krazy comic (wikipedia link here) in 1976-8.

I say this because in the bottom right corner of the image you can see the letters JNP. This stands for "Juvenile New Project" as was the 'coding' that publisher IPC gave to all new ideas that might one day make it into an actual comic.


You'll see that the pencil text at the top of the image reads "Could we have Krazy again but in the style as below. Old logo will give you position of eyes"
