Eric Parker overseas (part 10 of 10)

I've recently begun a lengthy series of blog posts all about renowned illustrator Eric Parker (check out his Wikipedia entry here) who had a 50 year (!) career as a comic illustrator.

and now we turn our attention to the start of a series of illustrations of foreign climes...

I'd say that, to me, this view (below) doesn't look like a view of foreign climes - perhaps it's a view of a Scottish loch or something - but I've included it here because it's on the back of the image above (which has a palm tree in it so must be overseas!)
