Art by 'Tammy' and 'Misty' artist John Armstrong up for sale

John Freeman, editor of many a comic & magazine, and now the driving force behind the premier British comics news website Down the Tubes (here) is helping the family of comics artist John Armstrong sell off some of his art.

Here's a link to just one of the pieces (for the other items just look at the seller's 'other items' - in case of doubt John's eBay ID is john_freeman). The amazing variety of art on offer shows just how:
a). talented John was
b). versatile you had / have to be to make a career out of illustrations!

The pieces were created over many years and are very reasonably priced, with some pieced on offer from as little as £15.

To find out more about the like & work of John Armstrong just point your browser here or here

John's family are also selling some of his art (look for seller albaneta) or go to this link here - these are larger oil paintings and are subsequently priced higher than the items listed above

Limited edition 'Charley's War' prints announced

Rebellion have just announced these Charley's War prints...

OK so the prints actually feature Charley's younger brother Wilf but whatever, these are the closest most of us will get to owning an original piece of Joe Colquhoun art.

The paper version (looks like 120 copies available) is available here for £75 and the limited edition (25 copies only) version on Bristol board is available here for £100
