ACP#500 - the big raffle!

Ok, so this is a post to gather up all the images / promises that people have made to me about stuff they are happy to donate to the charity raffle that will be taking place as part of the recording of the Awesome Comics Podcast live episode #500 at The Marquis Cornwallis pub (31 Marchmont street, London, WC1N 1AP) on Saturday January 25th 2025.

Rules are as follows
Rule 1 = each ticket is £1.

Rule 2 = anyone is welcome to buy a ticket - you can live in the UK, or overseas, you can be planning on attending the recording or not. All are welcome. BUT see rule 5 about YOU covering postage costs

Rule 3 = we are raising money for charity. There is no prescribed charity, just send me evidence that you've donated cash to whatever charity you prefer and you'll get that many raffle tickets.

Rule 4 = if you are attending in person you can just give me cash on the day and I'll pick a charity.

Rule 5 = I'm prioritising those that will be at the live show so if you can't make the show (but still want to enter the raffle) that's fine but you commit to covering postage of your winnings.

Rule 6 = I don't want to end up carrying a load of comics home to post off to people only to then have the winners say 'oh, I don't want to pay the postage for winning THOSE comics'. So, to avoid this, and bearing in mind that all timings are approximate and subject to change at no notice the raffle will be held at 3pm. If you are a non-attending winner I will contact you by 4pm to show you what  you've won.

You then have until 6pm (or whenever the quiz starts) to get in touch with me to tell me that you like what you've won and are happy to pay the postage for it. If you don't reply then I'll assume you didn't want it and it'll go back into the pile to be given away to someone else at some point during the evening.

All timings are approximate and subject to change at no notice. So, stand by your 'phones people! Basically if you haven't contacted me by the time the quiz starts then your prize has gone. Sorry.

Rule 7 = these are images of stuff that people have promised me, but y'know stuff happens, people get ill, can't make it at the last minute and, with a few exceptions, I don't actually have this stuff in my possession so I can't 1000000000% guarantee that each and every single item shown below will be in the raffle on the day. If you enter this raffle to try and win a particular comic good luck to you but you may be better off on ebay.

Rule 8 = some of these items might end up as prizes for the quiz or given away in some other form during the day. Not absolutely everything here will be raffled off, that's all I'm saying (although the higher value items will be).

I'm expecting more stuff to turn up on the day. So, there are a LOT of prizes to be won but y'know, you can only win 'em if you buy a ticket :)
