Slightly earlier in the same auction lot 28 (here) should also prove to be of interest to Dan Dare fans. Bidding opens at £300 on one of the finest pieces of Dan Dare merchandise that was ever produced - and I have to say this is is just superb condition.

Bartram A modern toy ‘Build your own space ships and jet jeeps’ metal tin plate construction parts and accessories in mint unused condition, still attached to backing card, with space toys blue prints catalogue, in a near mint original illustrated lidded box, an excellent example of this scarce set.
