Loner - a collector's guide - part 1

In anticipation of the Treasury of British comics reprint of Loner (coming this September it says here) - here's the start of my two part guide to collecting all things Loner.

Issue 1 (of 7) contains 29 pages reprinting episodes 1-6 from Wildcat

Issue 2 contains 30 pages of reprints from episodes 7-12 of the Wildcat stories.

Issue 3 has 30 pages again - this time reprints from new Eagle 29/04/89 - 20/05/89 [4 episodes] plus 2 one-off stories [01/07/89 and 29/07/89]

Issue 4 - 30 pages again, 15 by David Pugh and 15 by Eric Bradbury (who took over when David Pugh switched to drawing Dan Dare). Three one-off stories (19/08/89, 30/09/89 & 14/10/89) and then five episodes of a continuing story from new Eagle (21/10/89 - 18/11/89).

Issue 5 - 28 pages of Eric Bradbury art from new Eagle 25/11/89 - 27/01/90 (so that's 10 issues)

Issue 6 - 9 issues of new Eagle reprints (03/02/90 - 31/03/90), by Eric Bradbury

Issue 7 - 3 issues of Eric Bradbury new Eagle reprints (07/04/90 - 21/04/90) plus a 5 page strip by David Pugh that I can't find where it was originally printed. There's also another Wildcat reprint and 2 x 2000ad reprints (art by Chris Weston; art by Ron Smith)

So all in all there's 104 pages of David Pugh art followed by 84 pages of Eric Bradbury art - maybe that's how Treasury will split Loner into 2 volumes - who knows?
