There's a stunning Dan Dare painting up for sale on ebay right here - it's by Jon Haward and bidding opens at £399.99
Dated 1998 I've not seen this before so I'm not sure if it was intended for publication somewhere or was just done for Jon's personal enjoyment. There certainly wasn't an Eagle annual for it to appear in and Spaceship Away hadn't started yet so I assume it was a private commission (or done 'on spec'). A great piece - good luck if you bid!
