Don't forget that this is tonight...
Gosh comics have just announced (here) a signing and evening of chat devoted to all things 'Solo' - the evening includes the opportunity to meet comic artists who've worked on the film.
As you can see the concept artists and model makers in attendance will be Vincent Jenkins, Jack Dudman, Will Htay, Adam 'Mezolith' Brockbank, Glyn 'The Nao of Brown' Dillon, Julian Caldow, Paul Marsh & Neil Ellis.
Gosh say...
To celebrate the release of the The Art of Solo A Star Wars Story by Phil Szostak from Abrams Books, we'll be hosting Vincent Jenkins, Jack Dudman, Will Htay, Adam Brockbank, Glyn Dillon, Julian Caldow, Paul Marsh & Neil Ellis for a very special panel discussion and signing on Tuesday 12th June, 7.30-9pm!
Solo: A Star Wars Story is the second non-series film to help fill out the Star Wars universe, bringing to life hitherto unseen worlds and technologies, and reimagining familiar places and faces (and certain iconic spaceships) for an earlier time. Before filming starts, heavy lifting begins in the design departments, with countless reams of art being distilled down to a final vision for the film.
"The Art of Solo: A Star Wars Story reveals, for the first time, the design evolution of each new fantastical set, otherworldly machine, and unforgettable character in the film. Packed with hundreds of spectacular images, including production paintings, concept art and sketches, storyboards, and matte paintings, The Art of Solo: A Star Wars Story is the definitive guide to the art of the film—and a must-have keepsake for fans."

Lucky for us plenty of the talented folks behind the scenes are based right here in the UK, and we're lucky enough to be hosting a number of them for a Q&A session and signing!
We'll have Vincent Jenkins, Jack Dudman, Will Htay, Adam Brockbank, Glyn Dillon, Julian Caldow, Paul Marsh & Neil Ellis all here in-store to talk about their process working on the film, as well as take your questions. There will also be an opportunity to get copies of The Art of Solo A Star Wars Story signed by this incredible roster of talent.
Things kick off on Tuesday 12th June from 7.30-9 pm. We'll be closing the store at 7pm for a brief set-up, reopening at around 7.20pm to let people take their seats.
Seats will be available on a first come, first served basis, and if past attendance is any indication we'd recommend getting here to queue by 7pm.
Can't make it along? You can pre-order a signed copy online here for mail order or in-store collection.
