It's all lies #6

I'm grateful to friend of the blog David Hathaway for these scans from the the 6th issue of It's all lies. 

I've looked at the comic before (here) where I revealed that this comic was the first place that Mick McMahon ever had his work printed. 

Issue 4 has the story "Nothing for something"

Issue 5 has the story "Hell-Hound"

issue 6 wasn't previously thought to contain any of Mick's work but we can now see that it DOES contain Mick's work - the strip is "Out of this world". Thanks again to David!

So, this is the 3rd appearance of Mick's work. Given that the "next issue" box says 'A box of gimps' I'd assume that the strip for the (never published 7th issue) was already drawn and ready to print. I wonder what happened to that?

But it is an uphill battle, as many people currently in positions of power want the robot to fail.

Written by John Wagner (A History of Violence), this standalone graphic novel represents the final work of Carlos Ezquerra (Judge Dredd), with Dan Cornwell (Rok of the Reds) completing the story.

Joe and his killer robot dad - new issue!

News from the Joe and his killer robot dad Facebook page (here) there's a new issue out! 

It's currently available from OK Comics and the marketing blurb goes something like this...

A great big thank you to @okcomics for agreeing to sell our limited run (55 copies) of Joe and His Killer Robot Dad “Comic Stuff”!

26 pages (not including cover) including three mini stories, some of Mick McMahon's concept work, posters and other stuff. Each issue is hand finished with dyno labels (we won’t be doing that again)
