A well overdue update to my guide to collecting Asterix calendars - hope you managed to get one of these to hang on your wall, I didn't!

A chance find at a bookshop in December 2019 has meant that, happily, an Asterix calendar has been hanging on my wall this year. 

2022 appears looks set to be a bumper year for Asterix calendars with these two calendars currently available on Amazon...

Working out a gift list for last Christmas inspired me to see if a calendar has been produced for...and, good news, it has been...and it's been on my wall all year

...I then started wondering if there had been calendars for other years...so far I've found just this one

A quick bit of googling brings up plenty of 'kalendars' for the German market but few others - or maybe they've just dropped the word 'kalendar' from the title (so that it can be sold more widely).

Anyway if you know of any other Asterix calendars do let me know - thanks.

UPDATE: Tom & Jerry - Fleetway Editions

There are a LOT of Tom & Jerry comics out there and I certainly don't intend to do covers galleries for all of them. However, covers galleries for shorter run Tom & Jerry titles feel more achievable. 

I don't know much about this particular title so for now I'm just kicking off this gallery and will come back to it in due course once I find out more about it. More information at this stage is very welcome.

This is a Tom & Jerry title produced by Fleetway Editions - which (since Fleetway merged with London Editions) means that it might follow on directly from the London Editions numbering on the blog post yesterday. Time will tell.

...and here's another addition to their work, yes it's the "Saban's VR Troopers - official 3D comic" - a tie-in to the populat TV series of the time (1995/6).

The Phoenix Press title is definitely much harder to find than the version that Marvel published. The art (and writing) in these comics is uncredited and might best be described as competent.

UPDATE (22/03/26) - I now know that there was an English language version of issue #7. That makes me think that there should also be a English language version of issue #8. But I've never seen it so I can't be 100% sure (but then I hadn't seen the English language version of #7 until very recently).
