2000AD & Diesel join forces

Here (c/o of ebay seller https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/meltdownman178227) is this rare 2000AD promotional comic. Good luck tracking this rare comic down!

The seller describes it thus...

"About this comic - To get the promotional ball rolling, Diesel has teamed up with top British indie comic title 2000AD, for a Global in-store promotion to launch the new range. Available with every purchase, a specially commissioned 2000AD comic will feature the Diesel fashion editorial 'The Return of the Ice Crusaders', together with "exciting bespoke stories on bizarre clothing and youth culture from the 2000 D archives, providing a perfect backdrop to the Diesel vision of future fashion."

Rebellion, publishers of 2000AD and associated titles such as the Judge Dredd Megazine, were delighted when Diesel approached them with the idea for the joint promotion. Jason Kingsley, CEO and Co-publisher said, "The Diesel brand has always been one of innovation and creativity and we felt it was a perfect fit with the 2000AD brand and characters. Science Fiction is a genre that is always evolving due to its very nature, and developing a clothing line within this is an exciting step forward. major museum publications

As ever with blog posts sometime you've just got to start somewhere. So today I want to start compiling a list of books / exhibitions about comics / cartoons / caricaturing that have been held by major museums and galleries.

I'll start the ball rolling with this publication by the V&A museum. It's a catalogue of a collection of prints in the possession of the Department of Prints and Drawings of the Victoria and Albert Museum

More suggestions welcome for other such publications!

Big Value Comic (1995)

Big Value Comic was a short-lived (just 18 issues in total) all reprint comic from 1995 featuring material from Buster, Whizzer and Chips, Whoopee and Big Comic Fortnightly.
