This is tonight people don't forget...
Gosh comics have announced a launch party for the new title from acclaimed graphic novelist (and personal favourite of the blog) Isabel Greenberg...
Let's see what they have to say about the launch...
Isabel Greenberg will be with us on Friday the 7th of February from 7-9pm to launch her new graphic novel from Jonathan Cape: Glass Town!
Eisner-nominated Isabel Greenberg’s been a long term Gosh! favourite. We’ve loved her work since her first graphic novel The Encyclopedia of Early Earth and it’s follow up 100 Days of Hero.
Glass Town is a exciting change of direction, based on the early lives of the Bronte siblings and infused with the imaginative flair and otherworldly fantasy that makes Isabel Greenberg’s work distinctively magical. We’re delighted to have her here to launch it!
Jonathan Cape says:
“Four children: Charlotte, Branwell, Emily and Anne have invented a world so real and vivid that they can step right into it. But can reality be enough, when fiction is so enticing? And what happens to an imaginary world when its creators grow up?
Plots are spiralling, characters are getting wildly out of hand, and a great deal of ink is being spilt...”
Isabel will be here on Friday the 7th of February from 7-9pm to chat and sign for you lucky folks. If you can’t make it, signed copies of Glass Town can be pre-ordered via our website.
