Mighty Max comics - most expensive comics of the '90s?

I've looked before at the Mighty Max comic series from Marvel UK - my notes on the artist story & writer credits is here

I've managed to collect 6 (of the 10) issues that Marvel UK published. The limiting factor to collecting more is that they don't seem to come up for sale very often and when they do they can be very pricey.

Recently (here) a set sold for £410! Although it was then re-listed (here) at £300 (and sold); so either the seller had two sets or the original buyer dropped out and the comics were re-listed for the under-bidder.

I guess my question is...is this the most expensive comics set from the '90s? Got any other suggestions - just let me know!

In other news this is part 1 of my look at not the Marvel UK series but is still a Mighty Max comic so is still worth tracking down for its lovley Sandy James artwork. This is part 2 of my look at thta comic

Mighty Max comic - part 2

I recently (here) looked at the first part of the rare Mighty Max promotional comic that Sandy James illustrated, here's the concluding part of the strip...

The comic also seems to have been free with Stingray #12 (cover dated March 13th - 26th 1993) - see cover image below

Mighty Max comic - part 1

A while ago (here) I looked at a 'Mighty Max' comic that I was looking for, all I could find at the time was a reprint in, I think, a Scandinavian language.

Anyway, the good news is that I have now tracked down a copy of the issue and now know where the comic originated from...

So the Mighty Max comic was free with Thunderbirds comic #37 (March 6th-19th 1993), see below and note the very obvious advert for the Mighty Max comic.
  

The Mighty Max comic commands a real premium (often £20+ and I've seen it advertised, IIRC, at £100+ so if you're looking for a copy then it might be cheaper to look for the Thunderbirds comic and casually enquire if the free gift is still enclosed :)

Mighty Max comic - one-off

Back in July 2018 Barrie Tomlinson (@BarrieEditor01) posted this picture up on Twitter of a one-off Mighty Max comic that his son had written (around 1992)...

Over here someone's posted up the pages of a foreign language version of the comic. I can't read it but I can admire the Sandy James artwork.
