The acclaimed co-creator of Preacher and The Boys returns to the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic with ‘Blighty Valley’, a brand new story with art byJudge Dredd and Sniper Elite artist, Patrick Goddard.

To celebrate the publication of the 'Judge Dredd by Mick McMahon, Ape Edition' Forbidden Planet have announced a signing with Mick. It says here ...

Using scans taken from the original art, complete stories such as “Frankenstein II”, “The Wreath Murders”, and “Dream Palace” are published alongside pages from “The Cursed Earth”, “The Day the Law Died”, “The Judge Child”, and “The Fink”, his colour 1980s Annual work is also presented in this book too, with the complete “Pinboing Wizard”, and selected pages from other colour classics.

From the first published Judge Dredd story to his iconic work on serials such as ‘The Cursed Earth’ and ‘The Judge Child’, McMahon’s constantly evolving style has helped make him one of the greatest Dredd artists of all time. Famed for his ‘big boots’ design and vivid imagination, McMahon’s work helped define Dredd’s world and won him legions of fans.

From his dynamic early work influenced by Dredd co-creator Carlos Ezquerra to his later utterly unique style, this Apex Edition showcases the evolution of his career in unprecedented detail and demonstrates how McMahon came to influence generations of comic book artists.

2000AD have announced a short tour of duty by Gerry Finley-Day to celebrate the release of the book 'The best of Gerry Finley-Day!.

As it says here on their website...

To celebrate the release of the brand new The Best of Gerry Finley-Day collection, the acclaimed writer will be signing copies at four stores across the UK next month.

One of the most prolific and inventive writers in British comics, Gerry’s work for 2000 AD was extraordinary and included such beloved strips as future war G.I. Rogue Trooper, the ‘Great escape’ in space series Harry 20 on the High Rock, the Star Wars-inspired V.C.’s and the gritty 1970s take on the iconic Eagle character Dan Dare.
